Douglas Fir Pine Cone

Let’s draw this amazing pine cone as we compare it to other pine cones, learn the legend of the fir and the mice and even crack a cedar pine cone open to reveal its seeds! This video was recorded live to celebrate the holiday season thanks to the Richmond Nature House. You will not be able to send questions, but you will still have fun. (I respectfully acknowledge that the tale of the mice and the fir cones is an Indigenous legend in the Pacific Northwest)
