Project:

During a walk to a near park I brought back tiny branches of 4 different types of evergreen trees. I would like to draw these branches and their needles and describe them and compare them. Which one has the sharpest needles? Which evergreen tree has scale-shaped needles? Let’s find out about all this and more!

        • Tiny branches of evergreens (I took some photo references for you to use if you need to. Please be respectful with trees and don’t cut branches if you don’t need to).
        • Graphite pencils (2B, 4B, HB)
        • Non photo blue pencil
        • Sharpener
        • Ruler
        • Eraser
        • Colour pencils or crayons
        • Bug box (just in case)
        • Paper
