Slug – Curiosity, Creativity & Beyond

Let’s draw and learn super cool stuff about the Slug! This video was recorded live to celebrate 2021 International Snail Day thanks to the Richmond Nature House. You will not be able to send questions, but you will still have fun.

Materials:

- - - 2B graphite pencil
    - Non-photo blue pencil or light blue pencil
    - Sharpener
    - Eraser
    - Colour pencils
    - Paper
    - If you find a slug and you’d like to observe it and draw it, make sure that you create a humid environment in the container. For example, you can add some wet leaves so the slug is hydrated and feels safe. Do not cover the container, so the slug can breathe. Once you have finished your drawing, make sure you return the slug to where you found it.
